Principle Investigator: Professor David P. Corina, Departments of Linguistics and Psychology
A postdoctoral position is currently available for a project investigating the neural representation of American Sign Language (ASL). We seek a candidate with a background in spoken or sign language psycholinguistics and or in human action processing/motor control and who wishes to gain expertise in the neuroscience of language. Techniques used in this project include behavioral testing, electrophysiology (ERP), and fMRI. A Ph.D. in a related field and strong quantitative expertise and writing skills are required.
