Postdoctoral Research Fellowships at the University of Queensland

The University of Queensland is offering a limited number of Postdoctoral Research Fellowships commencing in 2009, to be awarded to persons wishing to conduct full-time research at the University.

Applicants interested in joining the fMRI Laboratory at the Centre for Magnetic Resonance, University of Queensland, Australia are invited to apply. Research should focus upon the neural mechanisms of language (production and/or comprehension). Research facilities available to staff include state-of-the-art MRI scanners (1.5T, 4T and a soon to be installed 3T system) and newly-installed EEG equipment (128 channel). An applicant must not have had more than five years full-time professional research experience or equivalent part-time experience since the award of a PhD, as at 30 June 2008. An applicant who does not hold a doctoral degree may be offered an appointment if evidence is subsequently provided that a doctoral thesis has been submitted by 31 December 2008.
