Postdocs in fMRI of Fun Activities

Two postdoctoral positions are available in the F.M. Kirby Research Center for Functional Brain Imaging in Baltimore, Maryland USA.

A partnership between Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Department of Radiology of the Johns Hopkins University, the Kirby Center houses research-dedicated Philips MRI scanners at 1.5 and 3.0 Tesla. Delivery of a 7.0 Tesla human scanner is scheduled for 2008. The Kirby Center is a nationally recognized (NIH P41 funded) research resource for MR technology development. The two postdoctoral positions will focus on acquisition and analysis of MRI data for the study of brain function using rich naturalistic behaviors (such as playing games and watching movies) to reduce demands on participant compliance.

Ph.D. in biophysics, neuroscience, or related field required. Experience with exploratory data analysis preferred.
